Dame Julia Cleverdon, former chief executive of Business in the Community and chair of Teach First, was guest of honour at Bromsgrove School’s annual foundation lecture, at The Lansdowne Club in London. Dick Noake, the foundation’s chairman said: “Our lectures have become a way of enabling us to engage our current and former parents, alumni and friends of the school, while raising awareness of the foundation and its aim of helping children who could not otherwise afford to come to the school.
